Oh dear me, I've been horrible as the owner of DHA. I'm so sorry everybody that I haven't been active at all... Life kinda decided to kick my butt really, really hard for a long time. BUT! It's all sorted out and now I'm back and will make it up to you all ^_^

However, since there are probably going to be periods when I wont be able to log on for a while at a time (aka Family, College, etc.) I've decided to pick out a Co-Owner of sorts to take care of things when I can't. If you want to become the Co-Owner just send me a note saying why you would like it and why you deserve it I'll make my decision in two or three weeks once I get a few notes.

Back on Aug4, Kenyon released the latest DarkHunter novel, Bad Moon Rising. BMR features the hero character, Fang (the black sheep of his family, a true lone wolf and expects nothing from the world) and the heroine, Aimee (the only daughter of the Peltier family, a bookkeeper).
The book synopsis follows:^{In the world of the Were-Hunters, like stays with like. Species don't mix and they definitely don't fall in love. But from the moment Aimee Peltier took in a wounded wolf, her heart wouldn't listen to what her head told her.
However, Fang Kattalakis isn't just a wolf; he is the brother of two of the most powerful members of the Omegrion: the ruling council that enforces the laws of the lyncanthropes. His brothers are the wolf representatives and Aimee's mother represents the Bear clan. Aimee is the heir apparent for her species. There is no way these two can ever be together and they know it.
But when war comes to Sanctuary, the establishment run by Aimee's family, sides must be chosen and enemies are forced into shaky alliances. Aimee is accused of betraying her people, and her only hope is the one man who believes in her. Yet in order to save her, Fang must break the law of his people, and that breech could very well spell the end of both their races}
Now, I myself haven't had a chance to read this book yet but from my mother's opinion, Kenyon has delivered another amazing read I can't wait until Mom finishes reading so that I can steal it and finally get a chance to read. More information and my review of the book will come once I'm finished with it.

With the new book due to be released on September 15 2009, Night Pleasures already has my attention. Our hero is Kyrian Thrace, a legendary Macedonian General who was disowned by his father for marrying an ex-prostitute who eventually betrayed Kyrian to his enemies where he was tortured and eventually killed by Velerius's Grandfather. Our Heroine is Amanda Devereaux, an accountant who wants nothing to do with the supernatural world her other sisters are involved in, she likes normality but when her psychic powers are discovered, she knows she'll never have that. I'd rather not spoil everything, but if you'd like to look up more information on your own, Night Pleasures has a page on Sherrilyn Kenyon's website.
